ZX Advance
This emulator was written by TheHive (also of CoG fame). The emulator runs very well and has probably the most useful GUI of any emulator for the GBA. The scaling options are extremely flexible, for example. The emulator's injector is also first-rate, enabling you to set controls on a per-game basis.
If you need to convert files to SNA or Z80 snapshot format, use a Windows-based emulator like EmuZWin. It's also worth checking out WorldofSpectrum.org for more information on this system.
Note that two versions of this emulator are available for download: 1.0.1 was the only one available until recently, and it has a lengthy and rather irritating intro; however, version 1.0.1a has no intro and is therefore recommended over the earlier version.
Foon
This emulator has good compatibility, and a decent menu and injector. However, it was officially discontinued on November 16, 2002. The source code is available on Sourceforge.
