Bejeweled
The ever popular browser-based game, Bejeweled has just been remade for the Gameboy Advance. Bejeweled is a little puzzle game where you try to match up three or more of the same gems in a horizontal or vertical line. The only way to move a gem is to make a match with it with 2 or more other of the same gem type. The gameplay retains the fun factor and appeal of the original, but lacks a few features that the original has that the author plans to add in the future. One thing I found slightly disappointing is that the scoring system is very low. You only get 3 points for every 3 pair, and barely any extra for combos.
The graphics in this game aren't phenomenal, but they are very good for being hand-drawn by the author of the game. Puzzle games don't need great graphics to be fun, and this one proves that point.
Overall this game is very good for how early on it is. I will most certainly be updating this review as more features are added, so check back later for an updated review. Download this one—you won't be disappointed.
